Be Sure to Celebrate National Pet Parent's Day!
Each year, the last Sunday in April is also known as National Pet Parent's Day. This year, the special day falls on April 30, 2013. The Veterinary Pet Insurance organization, established National Pet Parent's Day in 2008 to recognize and honor people who care for, love and make pets a part of their family. And for pet lovers who consider pets “children,” and part of the family unit, this day just makes sense. And no matter what kind of pet is a member of your family, cats, dogs, lizards, fish, guinea pigs, pot-bellied pigs, horses or goats, we simply cannot imagine life without them.
